A 2.5 hour Saturday workshop for adults with no experience. Taught in English, in the centre of Amsterdam.
What to expect
Two and a half hours of real work.
We begin with simple exercises that open up imagination and attention. From there we move into short scene work in pairs, with direct feedback from Verónica.
You leave with a first, honest experience of what acting really is. Not games, not therapy. A craft you can begin to build.
Who this is for
Serious adult beginners.
If you are an adult who has always been curious about acting and wants a proper first taste, this is for you. No experience is required, and no experience is expected.
This is not a showcase or a performance opportunity for experienced actors. It is a starting point.

Things people ask before their first workshop.
- Am I too old for this?
- No. The Discovery is built for adults, and most participants are meeting the craft for the first time. Age is not a factor. Willingness is.
- What if I have never acted before?
- That is exactly who this workshop is for. You do not need any prior training or preparation. We start from the beginning.
- What should I wear?
- Something comfortable that you can move in easily. Layers are helpful. No costumes needed.
- Is the workshop in English?
- Yes. The entire workshop is taught in English.
- How many people are in the group?
- Maximum fifteen participants. Small enough for everyone to work directly with Verónica.
